Abstract
A detailed analysis of the method of Prakash and coworkers for the calculation of ionic thermocurrent (ITC) peak parameters is presented. It is shown that this method leads to a shift of the ITC peak position and a change in the magnitude of the ITC peak height. Accordingly the expression for ITC as a function of temperature requires a modification.
