Abstract
In [1] we discussed default methods, involving an approximate joint distribution or the extension principle, to calculated M + N, M N , and evaluate M ⩽ N, M = N , etc. for positively and negatively associated discrete fuzzy numbers M and N . This paper continues that research where now M and N are continuous fuzzy numbers. We also discuss default procedures for extended max and min.
