Abstract
The article describes the history of the creation of two computer systems – "MESOSAUR" and "SANI", developed at the CEMI at the end of the last century under the leadership of S. A. Aivazyan, as well as the role of S. A. Ayvazyan in the development and use of methods of multidimensional statistical analysis, and the approach he developed to assessing the quality of life.
