Abstract

Structural and magnetic properties of Fe73.5−x Si13.5B9Cu1Nb3 Mn x=1,3−15 amorphous alloys were studied by means of Mossbauer spectroscopy, differential scanning calorimetry, X-ray diffraction pattern and energy dispersive X-rays, as-quenched and after annealing. The magnetic ordering of alloys substantially decreases with increase of Mn content x. The initially amorphous phase becomes nanocrystalline structure as the annealing temperature T a and time t a increase. The alloys were shown to pass several different phase transformations, when heated.
