Abstract
The high energy asymptotic limit of total cross section for K-K shell electron capture is studied by using the recently developed ultrarelativistic Continuum Distorted Wave model [1]. It is shown that for the case with spin flip, total cross sections coincide with previous predictions obtained using the Second Born approximation.
