Abstract

The Scelionidae are small to minute insects which are endoparasitoids in the eggs of insects and some other arthropods. A number of species are important as biocontrol agents in tropical countries. A total of 11 new species of Dyscritobaeus are described in this paper: eight from the Neotropical Region and three from the Australasian Region. The previously unknown male of Dyscritobaeus armatus (Dodd) is also described.
