Abstract
Ambagaspitiya (1995) considered a family of discrete distribution with the property that and obtained w(a; b)-weighted (Rao, 1965) generalized Poisson distribution (GPD) as a sub class of the family. In this article various distributional properties of this sub class are studied when w(a; b) = a s+1.
