Abstract

This paper deals with the dynamic oligopolistic market equilibrium problem in presence of excesses. In particular, besides presenting the problem in which only the production excess is considered, the demand excess is also discussed. In both cases, the variational formulation of the equilibrium conditions is given. Taking into account the continuity property of equilibrium solutions, it is possible to introduce a discretization procedure in order to present a computational method for the dynamic oligopolistic market equilibrium problems in presence of excesses. Moreover, a convergence result is proved. Finally, the performance of our algorithm is shown on some examples.
