Abstract
We derive solutions of general Wronskian form for the (vector) constrained KP hierarchies. As one explicit example we discuss rational solutions. In order to introduce our method, we give a direct, elementary proof of the existence of Wronskian solutions for the l-modified KP hierarchies (l:0,1,…).
