Abstract
A sufficient condition for robust stability of multirate digital control systems under additive plant perturbation is given using the notion of symmetric-coordinate multirate impulse modulation (SMIM). In addition, a norm upper bound of the additive perturbations for the SMIM of the plant that result from the bounded additive perturbation of the original continuous-time plant is given. Numerical examples are also studied to compare continuous-time, single-rate digital, and multirate digital control systems from the viewpoint of robust stability. >
