Abstract
In this article, we consider and study a Renyi’s entropy for k-record statistic from some continuous probability models. Further we prove a characterization result for the Renyi’s entropy of k-record values. At the end, we study Renyi’s residual entropy for k-record statistic and provide bounds for it.
