Abstract

Despite the positive aspects of pipeline transportation, which is considered one of the efficient transportation methods of liquefied gases, it is inevitable that there are very important shortcomings in the transportation process, such as the transition to the gas phase and the creation of multiphase zones in the pipeline. These cases are observed more often when the stoppage of work of the pipelines and accidents occur. The presence of multiphase flow zones greatly increases the pressure at the beginning of the pipeline and the cost of transportation. Therefore, it is very important to detect such gaps and flows, whether in static conditions or in a stationary flow, and to determine their coordinates. In the article, the possibility of diagnostics of gaps and imbalanced volume created during the transportation of liquid gases, as well as the possibility of adjusting multiphase zones in pipelines, is shown in the example of separate cases.
