Abstract

It is well known that the theory of potentials, developed for equations of elliptic and parabolic types, enables the reduction of boundary value problems to the solving of integral equations. The purpose of this note is to show the possibility of the construction of an analogue of potentials for equations that are not of the mentioned types. In the note we consider the model representative of evolution equations, well-posed in the I.G. Petrovskii sense, namely the Schroedinger equation.
