Abstract

We generalize some earlier extensions of the modular inequality of Poleckii, which is a basic tool in the geometric theory of mappings. Used first in the well-known theory of quasiregular mappings, it was successfully used also for more general classes of mappings. Indeed, the mappings satisfying a Poleckii's modular inequality are the usual examples in the class of the mappings satisfying generalized modular inequalities, a class which was intensively studied in the last 15 years.
