He is coauthor of Trevor Paglen: Sites Unseen (Smithsonian, 2018) and coeditor of Aesthetics and Contemporary Art (Sternberg, 2011). His articles have appeared in journals including Amodern, Art History, Art Margins, Grey Room, Manifesta Journal, Tate Papers, and Third Text. His current research explores two areas: the exhaustion of institutional critique and the ecological turn by contemporary artists; and the relationship between postconceptual art and the novel.
