Abstract
In this paper, we initially investigate the physical layer security over device-to-device communications, where the channel is modeled from the Fisher–Snedecor $\mathcal {F}$ distribution. To be specific, secrecy metrics, including the secrecy outage probability, the probability of non-zero secrecy capacity, and the average secrecy capacity, are well derived with exact closed-form expressions, which are given in terms of the Meijer’s $G$ -function. The accuracies of our mathematical expressions are further validated by Monte Carlo simulation results.
