Abstract

We consider a mechanical system consisting of a body moving on a horizontal plane and a mobile internal mass, which moves in a circle with a constant velocity. Dry anis ot ropic friction force acts between the body and the plane. The body moves without jumping. Five periodic modes of motion are established and conditions of their existence are found. A qualitative analysis of each periodic modes has been performed. In the plane of parameters the domains corresponding to the above periodic modes are determined.
