Abstract

ABSTRACT Many librarians are called upon to supervise employees and manage conflict situations, yet most lack meaningful training in and knowledge of conflict management techniques. This article discusses the causes of organizational conflict, conflict dynamics, conflict management theories, and conflict management styles. The article is followed by an annotated bibliography of important literature in the field.
