Abstract

We study solvability of an initial-boundary value problem for a fourth order integro-differential equation with a boundary condition in which the values of a solution or the conormal derivative of a solution on the lateral boundary are connected with an integral of a solution. The methods of regularization and continuation in a parameter are employed to prove existence and uniqueness theorems of regular solutions.
