Abstract

It is very important to use the multimedia as supplementary means in college teaching, and it is the need of educational development. This paper analysis the feature of multimedia computer-assisted instruction and the basic principles that should be followed in the fabrication of multimedia courseware. And the author have pointed out that in the teaching practice, because of the insufficient understanding of the position and function of multimedia computer-assisted instruction, there emerge such mistaken ideas: accolade the multimedia technology excessively and neglect the function of regular teaching; Pursue the multimedia form excessively and dilute the theme of the teaching content; Rely on the multimedia technology excessively and lose the teacher's teaching style, etc.. In order to make multimedia computer-assisted instruction develop in a healthy way, we should pay more attention to these mistaken ideas.
