Abstract

The contact problem at compound die has been solved with the help of finite element code PROKOP, using the hermitian cubic polynome as a displacement shape function. Three different approaches are compared in the paper - the condition for radial displacement at the contact surface, condition for the radial displacement and equidistance condition and at last the condition for radial displacement and radial stress equilibrium.
