Abstract

The paper aims at studying an object-oriented approach to modelling and simulation of discrete event dynamic systems (DEDS). The objects passing through the DEDS are associated with nonhomogeneous vectors describing them as complexes of relevant information concerning of their attributes. The discrete activities in the DEDS are then represented by nonhomogeneous matrices of corresponding types and dimensions. This enables the multiprocessor simulation of a great variety of production systems on different levels of abstraction treating powerful common structure mathematical models and algorithmic schemes.
