Abstract

There two parts of total errors in digital measurement systems with temporary division of channels. They are approximation error and quantization error. It is not possible to have smallness of separate parts. Approximation error in the selected measurement channel in systems with adaptive commutation allows changing a number of bit codes, hence changing quantization errors in order to bring total errors to a minimum. During this process, not all bit codes are transferred.
