Abstract

Targeted at the difficulity in measuring objectively users' emotions in interacting with w ebs,a method w as proposed by using eye movement data. Firstly,the PAD scale in Chinese and the initial eye movement indexes w ere selected,the representative w ebs w ere chosen through a questionnaire,and the interaction tasks w ere designed. Secondly,the users' eye movement and PAD data w ere obtained through an experiment. Then the eye movement indexes related to emotions w ere determined after the variance homogeneity test and one-w ay ANOVA,placing emotional classification as the influential factor. Finally,the relational models betw een eye movement data and users' emotions w ere constructed w ith the partial least square method,and the effectiveness and adaptability of the models w ere verified. The results indicated that the models have good performances in measuring w eb users' emotions.
