Abstract

It is seen that with an alternative type of functional decomposition, Lovering's network can be used to realize arbitrary transfer impedances and current transfer functions in addition to voltage transfer functions and transfer admittances. It is also seen that by generalizing the network, it is possible to synthesize arbitrary voltage transfer functions, current transfer functions, transfer impedances, transfer admittances or driving-point admittances by using less complicated functional decompositions.
