On Linear Fractional Representations of Systems with Parametric Uncertainty

Abstract

This paper introduces a new procedure to obtain low order linear Pactional representations of systems with parametric uncertainty. It is based on recursive sum and product decompositions of multidimensional polynomial matrices that reduce the problem to trivial representations of affine polynomial matrices. This approach is illustrated with a simple example.
