Abstract

Recruitment via the Internet is the fastest growing method of acquiring candidates. However, the variability of its tools, and frequently excessive expectations that surround the use of ICT methods in management means that there are many myths associated with it. The text sets out strict definitions of social recruitment and social recruitment using the internet. For example, industry reports, and selected academic publications shows how wide the range is assigned to this type of e-recruitment in Polish literature. These reviews are confronted with the results of the CSO on representative samples and analysis of the content of web pages 300 largest Polish enterprises.
