Abstract

The velocity of red blood cells in the microvasculature was measured by the dualslit photometric technique. The time delay to maximum crosscorrelation was determined on-line with a simplified correlator which utilizes a digital delay line and simplified multipliers. The correlation is computed over eight delay channels. Results are comparable to those obtained with 100-channel commercial correlation computers.
