Abstract
This paper attempts to present a project of computer automation in industrial scale production of antibiotics. A thorough description of the various phases of project development is given including details about necessary equipment completion, home-built interface and computerised control system. Software system for interface and built-in instrumentation testing, data logging, and supervisory control was developed in a modular way. Preliminary results and first experiences with the system implemented in the plant show that orientation is adequate. In conclusion plans for future are briefly outlined.
