Abstract

Reliability functions of particular components have an influence on the form of limit reliability functions of the system. This problem is strictly related to the domains of attraction. In the paper the theorems about domains of attraction of limit reliability functions of series-parallel systems are given. Moreover, limit reliability functions of series-“k out of n” systems are discussed, as a generalization of previously solved problem for series and “k out of n” systems separately. The class of possible limit reliability functions for these systems is given. Next, the class of limit reliability functions for the systems being a generalization of series-parallel and parallel-series systems discussed in part 1 is presented.
