Abstract

AbstractFurther examination of peat wax has not resulted in the isolation of chemically pure compounds, but data presented below make it seem probable that peat wax contains aliphatic monocarboxylic acids with a molecular size of about C19−C22 and aliphatic monohydroxy acids with a molecular size of the order of C20−C21.
