Abstract
Abstract Polynomial and exponentially time-dependent solutions of the mono energetic neutron transport equation in plane symmetry are considered and given explicitly. In order to construct these solutions, the inhomogeneous stationary neutron transport equation with a polynomial external source, was solved.
