On Evaluating Aspect Mining Techniques

Abstract

Many aspect mining techniques have already been proposed, even if aspect mining is a relatively new research domain. That is why the necessity to evaluate and to compare them has emerged. In this paper we aim to evaluate a part of the existing aspect mining techniques using a new set of evaluation measures. The possibility to evaluate aspect mining techniques and the problems encountered are discussed. A comparative analysis of the considered techniques is also provided.
