Abstract
The paper gives simple sufficient conditions on the kernel of the self-adjoint integral operator considered ensuring the equiconvergence of expansions in eigenfunctions and associated functions with the ordinary trigonometric Fourier series expansions. The presented arguments correct inaccuracies in [1].
