Abstract
The method of electro-optical tuning is theoretically investigated using a four 45°X ADP crystal system. High tuning rates of ∂λ/∂V=0.266 A V−1 are obtained by placing the crystals optically in series and electrically in parallel. Experimental results show agreement with theoretical expectations.
