Abstract

The Schwinger-Dyson equation for the electron propagator with the bare electron mass equal to zero is considered. The investigation is performed in the first Johnson-Baker-Willey approximation improved by adding the corresponding second-order correction to the usual perturbation expansion. In this approximation the existence of an electromagnetic dynamical mass generation of spin-1/2 particles is shown.
