Abstract
This paper describes the J(0) surface, the directional Compton profile J(q) at |q| = 0, and how it depends on the dominating parts of the momentum distribution. Presentation of the J(0) surface is a condensed form and a convenient picture from which to gain qualitative information about the momentum distribution.
