Abstract
I affirm in my article On Death Penalty – To Let Die or Not to Let Die? that the death penalty has a highly limited legal value, and I contemplate the arguments in favor of the capital punishment and against it, focusing on the main international standards and the current statistics performed by the Amnesty International. The fundamental part of the article is the analysis of judicial appraisal of the death penalty in the country where it is applied and that plays a paramount role in the international arena in the legal and extra-legal sphere: in the United States of North America. My article shows glaring errors in the U.S. jurisprudence and absurd judicial interpretations of the Law that constitute the foundations for the legal doctrine.
