Abstract

We consider a D-term inflation in supergravity theory in the framework of the braneworld cosmology. We show that we can eliminate the fine-tuning problem related to coupling constant λ and reduce the value of FI-term ξ in order to solve the problem of cosmic strings formation after inflation. This makes possible the calculation of all the perturbation spectrum parameters, which are in good agreement with WMAP7 data.
