Abstract
Take advantage of Beidou's Short Message Service, a method which can transmit real-time position data and other textual data safely, efficiently and reliably by means of data encryption, compression and transmission control was designed and implemented for realizing worldwide monitoring system at anywhere, anytime. Real Time Monitoring System of Oceanographic Surveying, which is developed based on these key technologies, indicates that the data transmission solution is safe, relatively efficient and reliable.
