Abstract

Iff(t) and its Fourier transformF(t) satisfy some growth conditions and if {cn}0∞is a sequence of distinct real numbers satisfying a certain separation condition, we represent those functionsg(t) which are in the closure of the linear span of a nonfundamental sequence {f(cn−t)} inL2(R). A result about the degree of approximation is also proved.
