On application of green building technology in Natatorium of Hangzhou Huanglong Sports Centre

Abstract

The green building technology aims to reduce the pressure of buildings on the environment (saving energy and resources), provide a safe, healthy and comfortable living space, be compatible with the natural environment, and achieve harmony among people, buildings and environment. Fully combined with the functions of sports buildings and the comprehensive factors such as climate, geographical conditions and local resources in Hangzhou, the Natatorium project of Hangzhou Huanglong Sports Centre puts forward appropriate comprehensive solutions of green building technology from six aspects: land saving, energy saving, water saving, material saving, indoor environmental quality and operation management based on the evaluation standards of green buildings. Therefore, it can create a comfortable and harmonious indoor and outdoor environment while reducing building energy consumption, so as to improve building quality for better ecological, social and economic benefits.
