She debuted at eighteen in John Vaccaro's Playhouse of the Ridiculous and was an Andy Warhol superstar featured in the film Women In Revolt. She is also a poet and essayist. Since 1999, the video project she co-helms with long-time collaborator Steve Zehentner, The Lower East Side Biography Project, has broadcast and streamed weekly: www.facebook.com/thelowereastsidebiographyproject.
