Abstract

This paper describes a marine power station (MPS) control system with centralized management and decentralized monitoring based on Active Disturbance Rejection Control (ADRC). By combining S7-1200 PLC and human machine interface (HMI), the control system sends data from the generator sets of the MPS to the upper computer (WinCC) in real time through Industrial Ethernet. This new MPS control system can efficiently regulate the frequency and the load of MPSs to ensure the continuity and quality of power supply, thus solving the control problem often encountered with diesel-generator sets. The experimental results showed that this control system have a remarkable anti-interference ability to dynamic load disturbance and strong robustness. Therefore, the proposed MPS control system can significantly increase the stability and the reliability of MPSs.
