Abstract
We consider abstract control problems which are governed by a homogeneous linear wave equation for Hilbert space valued functions under nonhomogeneous boundary conditions which contain the controls that have values in an abstract Hilbert space. These problems are transformed into distributed control problems under homogeneous boundary conditions which have the controls on the right-hand side of a nonhomogeneous wave equation.
