Abstract

An investigation is reported on a possible effect in the NMR-spectrum of the fee-alkali fullerides, caused by the off-centre displacements of the alkali cations. The effect consists in a slight, asymmetrical distortion of the NMR-lines of the tetrahedrally-coordinated alkali cations, in the direction of lower shift values. A typical example is K3C60.
