Abstract

This paper deals with an iterative algorithm for domain decomposition applied to the solution of a singularly perturbed reaction-diffusion problem. This algorithm is based on finite difference domain decomposition approach and suitable for parallel computing. Convergence properties of the algorithm are established. Numerical results for a test singularly perturbed problem are presented.
