Abstract

Polj{ica and surroundings are known for numerous interesting fossil remains. Among the rarest fossil remains are vertebrates, and in the Polj{ica Oligocene these consist exclusively of fish remains. In this contribution are considered six teeth of sharks, five belonging to species Carcharias cuspidatus (Agassiz, 1843), except a single problematic tooth that can be attributed most probably to genus Cosmopolitodus.
