Abstract

With the development of economic globalization and high-tech technology, marketing is undergoing profound changes. The marketing process is a management decision-making process. The ultimate goal of enterprise marketing management is to build the data warehouse to provide information support for decision makers to make a decision. In 1993, researcher E.F. Codd first time suggest a on-line analytical processing (OLAP) technology, specially designed to implement the analysis of the complex operation, focus on decision makers (senior management) of the decision information support, based on request of the customer to realize fast and flexible complex query processing huge amounts of information, the last in a straightforward expression of the query results to decision makers, so that the decision makers can get data information from multiple perspectives, speed, consistent and interactively. Application of OLAP and MDX technology in the marketing management system, realize the construction of multidimensional data information and information analysis.
