Abstract

The aim of this study is to contribute to the literature by determining the costs and consequences of possible occupational accidents in schools. Another purpose of the study is to focus on the consequences of occupational accidents by determining the amount of costs of occupational accidents based on research conducted on the subject. For this purpose, the conceptual framework of possible occupational accidents in schools was explained, the costs of occupational accidents that often occur in schools were determined and their consequences were focused on. Considering the extent of possible occupational accidents in schools, deaths, loss of limbs and work accidents resulting from injury, the pain experienced and all the damage suffered, it becomes clear to what extent the need to take appropriate and correct measures on the subject in order to prevent occupational accidents is essential.
